internship position details

We are looking to add multiple interns to our team for the Scottsdale office.

 

As our intern, you will have opportunities to work on all client accounts including those within HVH Media & Marketing and The Mae Agency. 

 

The ideal candidate will be earning school credit, a self-starter, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, be a great team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a great attitude. Additional talents that we would love are: an energetic and positive personality, strong, creative, excited to have an opportunity to grow, and determined to succeed. Passion for the Fashion/Beauty/Lifestyle industries.

 

The ideal candidate must also have extremely strong computer and social media knowledge and understand how social media and public relations can be used for brand awareness and influence. They should be familiar with writing press releases and emails as well as strong editing skills to be utilized within all positions.

 

This internship has the potential to turn into a paid position with our team, though not guaranteed. We are growing quickly and looking for strong candidates to grow with us.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the agency VPs & Account Manager

• Heavy social media engagement and execution of digital and press strategies

• Monitor client and agency social media accounts, digital analytics, and media hits

• Coordinate, prepare, and participate as needed for internal and external meetings

• Read daily, weekly, monthly and online publications to identify client-relevant media coverage, including competitive market and industry information, this also includes researching similar social media accounts

• Contribute to client brainstorms with creative and strategic ideas

• Assist all divisions of the agency with graphics, content creation, research, writing, etc.

 

Requirements:

• Must live in the Scottsdale, AZ area (we do allow work from home opportunities, but in-office days are required. *we do monitor the current situations closely and will adhere to CDC guidelines*)

• Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field preferred

• Must have superior written and verbal communication skills

• Design skills and web design skills are a plus (Canva and/or Adobe programs)

• Must be familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft Office.

• Must be familiar with Instagram (Later for post scheduling), Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter

• Must be extremely knowledgeable with Instagram - including stories, reels, posts, analytics, etc.

• Experience building accounts from the ground up, creating content, and developing content calendars

• Must be a self-starter, professional, and friendly people skills

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful

• Punctuality and reliability

• Must have your own laptop

 

Pay:

This is an unpaid internship. It requires a 3-month commitment. The company will support the applicant if he/she wants to get internship credit for his/her college. We pride ourselves in providing opportunities for undergraduate or graduate students who are interested in learning and practicing the latest techniques on social media marketing.
